Getting Started
Please contact us and we will guide you in the process from start to finish.

Below are helpful information to get started:

-
You have an uncontested Alberta divorce (which just means you and your spouse are in agreement on the details)
-
You have been separated from your spouse for at least 1 year (technically at least 11 months)
-
You or your spouse have been a resident of Alberta for at least one year
-
You know where your spouse resides, or can readily contact her or him (we can assist with alternative)
-
If your spouse lives/works outside Alberta, or outside Canada - ideally have an address and a cell number
-
Have a picture of your spouse (any recognizable photo will work)
-
Parenting After Separation course certificate (if you have children 16 years old or younger)
-
You have a government-issued Marriage Certificate if you were married in Canada (we can assist in ordering)
-
You and your spouse have resolved all issues of corollary relief (property, custody, access, support, etc.)
